Meet Maggie
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse therapeutic environments, aiding my clients in their path to wellness, healing, and self-exploration.

My Background
I was raised in a small town in Maryland where the Chesapeake Bay was my playground. I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Human Services at Elon University in North Carolina before making the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles for my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Southern California (USC).
During my time in Los Angeles, I worked in the community mental health setting focusing on underserved individuals, with a specialty in the young adult population. I gained hands-on experience working in the school system by providing individual and group counseling to students who were diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
Eventually, my heart longed for outdoor adventures and the mountains, leading me to make the move to Denver, Colorado. I had the incredible opportunity to gain expertise in the mental health and eating disorder field by working for over 8 years at a well-known treatment center. I supported individuals and their families at all levels of care – inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. I worked on a multidisciplinary treatment team and collaborated with renowned leaders. While at the treatment center I had the once in a career opportunity to develop and launch a national family & friends program, aimed at educating caregivers on how to support their loved one.
A few tidbits about me:
I am a mother, a wife, and I am most content when I am in the fresh air going for walks – around the park, in the mountains, on the beach, or anywhere I am in nature and with my own thoughts. I also enjoy a good historical fiction book that I can get lost in. From time to time, you can also find me enjoying live music or a sporting event.

Personally and professionally my heart has always been in the helping profession and connecting with others. I have had the privilege to pursue higher education and support individuals on their mental health journey.
